What I'd really like is Cloister with it's PDF viewing etc coupled with Endnote's integration with Word (and hopefully, eventually, Pages with its superior page layout functions). You're right, BibTex doesn't look that useful for me. So if I could have an app which did all of the above and was stable and snappy, I'd be in bug heaven!! Indeed, most of them won't even accept PDFs. Exporting to Pages certainly is a no-go at the moment. If you don't use LaTeX, I wouldn't really good for a BibTeX-only solution.Īs for exporting from Cloister: It seems to me that you can't do any exporting at all at the moment. Some general advice: Although it is extremely powerful in combination with LaTeX, BibTex itself isn't such a great format.
